Returns & Refunds Policy

At ActiveModesty, we want every purchase to feel right. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we are here to help. Our Returns & Refunds Policy is designed to be clear, transparent and fair while maintaining the high quality standards of our brand.
1. Return Period
You may request a return within 14 days after receiving your order.
Once your return request has been registered, you have an additional 14 days to return the item to us.
2. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, the item must:
- be unworn and unused;
- be in its original condition;
- be free from perfume, deodorant, make-up, stains, pet hair or other signs of wear;
- be unwashed;
- have all original tags attached;
- be returned in its original packaging;
- include proof of purchase or your order confirmation.
Returns that do not meet these conditions may not qualify for a full refund.
3. Quality Inspection
Every returned item undergoes a quality inspection upon arrival.
If an item shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to assess its nature, characteristics and fit, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value, where permitted by applicable law.
Items that have been worn, washed, altered or damaged after delivery may be refused.
4. How to Start a Return
To start a return, simply use the Returns button located in the footer of our webshop and follow the instructions. Returns should always be registered before being shipped.
Please do not send products back without first submitting a return request.
5. Return Shipping Costs
Netherlands
For returns within the Netherlands, a return fee of €6.50 will be deducted from your refund.
International Returns
Customers outside the Netherlands are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product.
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as ActiveModesty cannot be held responsible for returns lost during transit.
6. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If you receive an incorrect item, a damaged product or a manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as possible via our Contact page.
To help us resolve the matter quickly, please include:
- your order number;
- a description of the issue;
- clear photographs of both the product and its packaging.
If your claim is approved, ActiveModesty will provide an appropriate solution, including replacement, repair or a full refund. Any associated shipping costs will be covered by us.
7. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different size or colour, simply return your original item and place a new order through our webshop.
This allows us to process orders more efficiently and ensures the fastest possible delivery.
8. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Gift Cards;
- personalised or custom-made products;
- products that have been worn or washed;
- products without original tags;
- products not returned in their original packaging;
- products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once their protective seal has been removed (where applicable).
9. European Union – Right of Withdrawal
If your order is delivered within the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving your order without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, simply notify us within the withdrawal period and return the item in accordance with this policy.
This statutory right does not affect any other legal rights available to you under applicable consumer protection legislation.
10. Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return, you will receive confirmation by email. If your return is approved, your refund will be processed within 10 business days.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless you expressly choose an alternative refund method.
Please note that banks and payment providers may require additional time before the refund appears in your account.
11. ActiveModesty Store Credit
As an alternative to a monetary refund, you may choose to receive your refund as ActiveModesty Store Credit.
When selecting Store Credit, you will receive 110% of your original purchase value to spend on future purchases at ActiveModesty.
For example:
- Purchase value: €100
- Cash refund: €100
- ActiveModesty Store Credit: €110
Store Credit:
- is completely optional;
- is issued digitally;
- is non-transferable;
- cannot be exchanged for cash;
- does not expire.
12. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after ten business days:
- check your bank account again;
- contact your credit card provider;
- contact your bank, as processing times may vary.
If you still have not received your refund, please contact our Customer Care team.
13. Lost Returns
Returned items remain the responsibility of the customer until they are received by ActiveModesty.
We strongly recommend obtaining proof of shipment and using a tracked delivery service.
ActiveModesty cannot issue refunds for parcels that are lost in transit without proof of shipment.
14. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy limits or excludes any statutory rights available under applicable consumer protection laws.
